Prabal Gurung launched his eponymous collection in February 2009 with a philosophy encompassing modern luxury, indelible style, and an astute sense of glamour. Prabal was born in Singapore and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon graduating from Parsons in New York, Prabal worked with designers Cynthia Rowley and Bill Blass until launching his own collection, PRABAL GURUNG. In 2010 he was the recipient of the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award. In 2011, Prabal was honored with the CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear. Most recently Prabal Gurung announced his product collaboration with MAC Cosmetics for a luxe capsule collection to be launched in Fall 2014.

Within 20 years of starting this foundation through our contribution to the education sector, we will have a critical mass of leaders who will be instrumental in turning our society into one which is just, equitable, secular, accountable, thinking, questioning, progressive & prosperous.
Our mission is to provide best possible education to 300 underprivileged children within 10 years of the start of this foundation, who will be shapers of the nation’s destiny.
