The nonprofit is dedicated to protecting the bay’s ecosystem and enlightening the public on marine conservation and restoration.

What an amazing experience! It was worth every penny. We got to go behind the scenes and really understand how the aquarium works. I recommend it to all!

We loved exploring the aquarium and Pier 39, then our private tour was amazing. Our guide was really nice and informative, explained how everything behind the scenes at the aquarium works, and showed us tons of animals that aren't on display (including a baby swell shark that was born the day before!). I took my dad for his 60th birthday, as he loves marine biology, and he enjoyed this experience so much he decided to become a volunteer diver at the aquarium! A wonderful day doing something new and exciting, highly recommend!

We had a great time at the aquarium. It includes a lot of behind the scenes and we learned so much more about the aquarium, fish, and sharks than we expected (we even saw some a baby shark not yet shown to the public!). Feeding the sharks was fun too! We got to learn all about what they eat and how the fish all behave. A very cool experience!
