Chef James Stolich, affectionately known as “Chef James” to his private clients, was raised on a 50-acre horse farm surrounded by bountiful organic fruits and vegetables near the Salinas Valley. After traveling throughout Europe, he made his first foray into the culinary world over a decade ago by hosting a legendary underground supper club. Since then, Chef James has become a perennial favorite in the Bay Area with his popular private cooking parties and classes. His multi-course regional Italian and Spanish dinners are cultural celebrations perfect for sharing with friends and family.

We had an amazing evening cooking with James. He's a super friendly and hands on instructor. Our group had varying levels of comfort when it came to pasta making, and he was able to get everyone equally excited and involved.
The ravioli we made were delicious and we got to share some great life stories with James.
Highly recommend this experience to everyone, regardless of your level of comfort in the kitchen.
27/04/17Paella Party and Regional Spanish Dinner at the Home of a Quince-trained Chef in San Francisco
The Paella Party was quite wonderful and perfectly customized for this occasion. James was the perfect host and chef. The food was amazing. The home was stunning. We celebrated my partner's 58th birhtday and he loved every moment of the evening. My only minor comment for improvement was that I wish all of the candles on the mantle were lit. And that coffee was served with the wonderful flan/cheesecake that James created.
