WOW, this was a fantastic dinner! We enjoyed chatting with the owner about each of the dishes he brought to the table. Our entree was a special baked quesidilla dish that reminded us of lasagna...Mexican style! It was one of the best things we have ever eaten. The vibe at the restaurant was laid back and fun, seating was really comfortable and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend an evening with Azucar Lounge!

The atmosphere and food was amazing! I had a great time at Azucar. It is so cool to be able to try food that is off-the-menu. Definitely a unique experience!

My mom and I had such a great time at Azucar. Our server was incredibly attentive and had extensive knowledge of all of their different cocktails/beverages. The special tasting menu was very well executed and I never would have visited Azucar because I never knew it was there, but I'm ready to make it a post-work hangout because the energy and atmosphere are unbeatable.

What a fun and informative experience! Jon is a wealth of information and truly passionate about mezcal, its producers and the context in which it is made. My husband and I liked mezcal before, but the tasting opened up a whole world of variety and flavors. I would do this again just to try different mezcals and listen to Jon's stories.

The food, atmosphere, and cocktails were delicious! I loved everything we tried (amazing margaritas!), but the desert was my favorite. Loved this place and will definitely be back!

The mission of The Edible Schoolyard Project is to teach essential life skills and support academic learning through hands-on classes in a one-acre organic garden and kitchen classroom. At the core of the mission is a free, sustainable, and delicious lunch for every child. The Edible Schoolyard curriculum is fully integrated into the school day and teaches students how their choices about food affect their health, the environment, and their communities. Using a local sustainable criteria for purchasing food, the organization supports not only the students but also the farmers and ranchers, who are taking care of the land for future generations. The Edible Schoolyard network now includes 4,800 schools and programs in all 50 states and 57 countries.
