Villiera Wines
Villiera is a family-run winery in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa specialising in Cap Classique with a strong reputation for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Not only have they been making great wines for more than 30 years, but the estate has been rewarded with membership to the Biodiversity of Wine Initiative for preserving the environment.
In conjunction with two neighbours Villiera set aside 220 hectares of land as a wildlife sanctuary in 2009.
So visitors can enjoy wine here, but also the bountiful surrounds which include dams and marsh areas attracting a huge variety of bird life as well as a medley of buck and zebras which have been introduced to the property.
