Rickety Bridge Winery
The Rickety Bridge Winery is three kilometres from the village of Franschhoek, nestled against the hillside overlooking vineyards and the majestic Wemmershoek Mountains. Revel in their wines, stay, play and treat yourself here.
The history of this land dates back to 1694 when Rickety Bridge was part of La Provence, one of the first French Huguenot farms in the area. The property changed hands several times and became known as Rickety Bridge because of an old railway sleeper bridge that crosses the Franschhoek River onto the property. Today the property is home to a modern winery, a bistro-style restaurant, luxurious accommodation, and even a wedding venue.
