For more than 50 years, the Chicago Architecture Center (formerly the Chicago Architecture Foundation) has shared stories of Chicago’s magnificent architecture with millions of visitors. The Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) is a hub for all things architecture, with two floors of interactive exhibits, 85+ docent-led boat, walking, bus, bike and L tours and exciting programs for kids and adults. Visit the CAC to view the largest 3D model of Chicago, see super-sized models of tall buildings from around the globe and learn how Chicago became “the city of architecture.”
For this experience, the CAC has partnered with the American Writers Museum. Through interactive exhibits, visitors can explore the many exciting worlds created by the spoken and written word. The AWM enriches and deepens the appreciation for good writing in all its forms, discovering, or rediscovering, a love of reading and writing.
