Tucked away in Edinburgh, the historic capital city of Scotland, is the idyllic neighborhood of Stockbridge. It's only a mile from that famous castle perched on ancient volcanic rock, but it is in many ways a village unto itself.
In November of 2006, my partner and I spent a week in one of the most majestic places we have ever visited. California’s Yosemite National Park had a beauty and spirituality unlike any other place we’ve been to.
Since the age of 6, I have had a love for baking that was first inspired by my mother. Now, 22 years later, I am running my own specialty cake business with my mom’s ongoing support and guidance.
Frustrated by the lack of uncommon, well-made toys for our kids, my friend Stacy and I decided to start an online boutique where busy parents could shop and feel comfortable about their purchases.
