In November of 2006, my partner and I spent a week in one of the most majestic places we have ever visited. California’s Yosemite National Park had a beauty and spirituality unlike any other place we’ve been to. We felt like guests in creation’s garden. We stayed at The Ahwahnee, a National Historic Landmark tucked into the center of the Yosemite Valley. This magnificent hotel provided us with an elegant home in the wilderness. Early morning walks through the meadow gazing up at Glacier Point were nothing less than magical. A place of ancient giant Sequoias, crystal clear streams, and spectacular cliffs, Yosemite offers something different for everyone. We were touched by Yosemite’s awe-inspiring beauty and natural serenity. Almost a year later, the priceless memories and feelings of that trip continue to feed our spirits and inspire us.
