After 14 years of friendship, my pal Stacy and I decided to start a business together. I had a 3-year-old and she had a 1-year-old, and finding uncommon, well-made toys for them was a challenge. We wanted toys for our children that were simple and clean. So we created an online boutique where busy parents could shop and feel comfortable about their purchases. Most of our toys are either handmade by moms, created by small artisan shops, or are from small, family-owned manufacturers from all over the world. We officially started in September of 2006. Now the kids are a year older and enjoy trying out the toys and helping us pick what they like-their opinion is important. We are planning on opening a small showroom later this September. Following our passion and letting our kids inspire us, all while running a business with a conscience-truly priceless.
